Founded by owner-operator James (Jim) McCaffery in 1987, JD McCaffery Construction has a decades-long history of successful design, construction, and maintenance work in beautiful Muskoka. We’re proud that most of our new clients have come to us by way of referrals from past clients. With depth of experience and a dedicated team of professionals who enjoy their work, our goal on every project is to commit ourselves to delivering results to our clients with the utmost integrity, honesty, and fairness.

We maintain our company at a manageable size so that we can focus our attention on one major job at a time. And our clients get the peace of mind that comes with knowing their project isn’t just one of many their builder is trying to juggle at once. Whether it’s our detailed, itemized invoices, taking prospective clients to visit our past projects, or framing a new cottage in -36° Celsius weather, we get the job done and done right. The bottom line is this: We keep our clients’ best interests at the heart of everything we do, and we stake our name on it.
